Halong bay tour – 2 days & 1 night – Everyday

Tour itinerary for (1) & (2)

Day 1: Hanoi – Halong (B - L - D)

8:00 Pick up at your guesthouse and leave for Halong city. We will have a short break for 20 minutes in Hai Duong city in which you will have an overview of the Vietnamese handicraft products, art gallery, etc., made by people of Hai Duong. Then a trip to Halong city.

11:30 we arrive in Halong city check in the boat and have a welcome drink. After check in, lunch options: Vietnamese food, seafood or vegetable food and so on.

13:30 we will take a cruise from Bai Chay wharf through Halong. You will have a change to sightsee many beautiful spots of the world natural heritage, including: Fighting cock islet – the symbol of Halong, Incense Urn Islet, Finger island, Toad islet, Dog islet, Dragon, Horse Neck, Buffalo Head Islet, and many other islands. You will have the opportunity to explore the mystery of “THIEN CUNG cave” (the cave of the heavenly palace – famous for its stalagmites and stalctites) and Dau Go grottoes.

16:30 Arrive at Titop, free time for swimming and kayaking before having dinner in the romantic sunset.

18:00 Enjoy a fresh seafood dinner and overnight on board. You will have unforgettable feelings when staying on the upstairs of the boat, seeing the marvel of se at night, enjoy the finest weather of the day, making friends with people from the neighbor boats, etc.

If you like to stay at hotel, there is another boat taking you to Cat Ba island where you can go to the entertainment centers, pubs, discotheque, sauna, and beauty salon. After check in you will have dinner at 19:30.

Day 2: Halong – Hanoi (B - L)

7:00 Have breakfast and come back to the boat to Halong wharf on return experience daily life activities of fish men on floating fishing village.

11:00 Arrive at Halong wharf. Have lunch at restaurant. Take minibus back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi at 16:30. We will drop you off at your hotel or your place.

Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B - L - D)

In the morning

7:30 – 8:15am: pick you up at the hotel and leave for Halong bay. Short break en route in Hai Duong Province (20 minutes). Arrive in Halong Bay around 12:00pm

In the afternoon

Begin your cruise in Halong Bay where seafood lunch is served on the boat. On the way, you keep admiring the amazing kasts with different formations. Then you will arrive at Kiem Lam areas and enjoy kayaking in one hour.

Back to the cruise, free time for swimming, sunbathing or snorkeling… Relax on the sundeck and enjoy free fruit and drink served by the crew. Join a cooking demonstration to learn how to prepare some traditional Vietnamese dishes with our professional chefs then sit down for dinner.

In the evening

After dinner, free time at your leisure: relaxing, enjoying music or fishing for squid and fish on the bay (equipment provided) then retiring to the comfort of your cabin.

Day 2: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B - L)

In the morning

After breakfast on boat, you will visit Halong bay's largest cave named Sung Sot (Amazing cave) in one hour.

Taking photos before cruising back to the harbor. On the way, witness the beauty of Dinh Huong Island (incense burner). Cho Da island (stone dog), and Ga Choi Island (fighting cocks).

In the afternoon

Have lunch then disembark and take a bus to Halong city for lunch. Return to Hanoi with short break on the way. Arrive in Hanoi around 5:00pm and say goodbye at your hotel.

Day 1: Hanoi - Halong

Day 2: Gia Luan – Cat Ba – National Park, island town

7:30 Enjoy the dawn and fell the fresh air before the sunrise. Have breakfast. Boat head to Catba island. Pick up you to trek through wild park with various kinds of flras and faunas, hill up to the peak of Ngu Lam, picture the overview Catba National Park and the Bay.

11:30 Back to the hotel. Check in and have lunch, rest at the hotel.

13:30 Free time in Catba island

19:00 Have dinner and overnight in Hotel

Day 3: Cat Ba – Gia Luan – Halong – Hanoi

7:00 Have breakfast and come back to the boat to Halong wharf on return experience daily life activities of fish men on floating fishing village with chances to take photographs… and more swimming...

11:00 Arrive at Halong wharf. Have lunch at restaurant. Take minibus back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi at 16:30. We will drop you off at your hotel or your place.

Day 2: Halong Bay – Cat Ba island – Lan Ha Bay

In the morning

After breakfast on boat, you will visit the Halong bay's largest cave named Sung Sot (Amazing cave) in one hour. Around 9:30AM, change to day boat (smaller boat) then cruise toward to Viet Hai Wharf belonging to Cat Ba National Park. Taking a 5km ride to Viet Hai village to explore the lifestyle of local residents.

In the afternoon

Back to the boat, relax on the sundeck  for a while before lunch with seafood and Vietnamese specialties then enjoy another kayaking trip (around 1 hour) to explore Van Boi and some sandy beaches while cruising to Beo Wharf. Disembark and check in your hotel in Cat Ba Island. Free to explore Cat Ba town for your own activities.

Suggestions: taking a motor biking trip around the town or swimming in the beach. (Exclude in tour price)

Day 3: Cat Ba island – Halong Bay – Hanoi

In the morning

After breakfast, transfer to Beo Wharf. Get on the day trip boat and cruise along Lan Ha Bay then transfer to our awaiting cruise on the bay.

Cruise stops over for swimming, snorkeling (equipment provided) and taking photos before cruising back to the harbor. On the way, witness the beauties of Ding Huong Island (incense burner), Cho Da Island (stone dog), and Ga Choi Island (fighting cocks)

In the afternoon

Disembark and take a bus to Halong City for lunch. Return to Hanoi with short break on the way. Arrive in Hanoi around 5:00PM and say goodbye at your hotel.

Sapa – Easy Trekking

3 nights – 2 days – Sleep at homestay
Price: US$95/1 person, maximum 8 people in a group

Sapa is  former French hill station situated in the valleys near the Chinese border. Its high elevation of 1,600 meters creates its cool climate. This inspired the French to build villas there as a summer retreat. Today, Sapa still attracts visitors for its stunning scenery, comfortable climate, colorful markets, and a variety of ethnic hill tribes living in nearby villages. This is the perfect itinerary for those seeking a retreat but wishing to stay in the luxury of a hotel in Sapa Town rather than in a homestay.

Night 1: 20:00PM, you will get picked up from your hotel and our trip starts with an overnight train journey from Vietnam’s capital city to the border town of Lao Cai. The accommodation for the night will be in soft sleeper berths on express train (standard cabin includes 4 berths per cabin)

Day 1: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van (B, L, D)

Arrive in Lao Cai station at 5:00AM, you are welcomed by driver, then transferred by bus to Sapa. The bus ride uphill to Sapa takes a little more than an hour, giving you a glimpse of the stunning vistas and impressive rice terraces. You will have breakfast at hotel before we start 12kms of trekking to visit Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai villages of H’mong minority. The trekking route offers some challenges as you balance on the rice terraces and a small trail on the steep mountainside. The vegetable is dense as the trail leads up to a peaceful village perched on the Hoang Lien mountainside. Head downhill and relax by a local stream for a picnic lunch. After lunch, we continue trekking to Ta Van village of the Day where we have an unique homestay experience.

Day 2: Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan – Sapa (B, L, D)

After breakfast, we start the day with an easy trek of 10kms to visit 2 villages of the red Dzao, the H’mong (Giang Ta Chai & Su Pan). The trekking will take you along local paths, up and down the rice terraces and into the villages and home of local hill tribes. Enjoy a beautiful waterfall and rattan bridge with picturesque landscapes… through bamboo forest on the way to the main road to get the jeep to return to Sapa.

6:00PM: the bus transfers you to Lao Cai train station for night train back to Hanoi.

Day 3: 5:00AM, you arrive in Tran Quy Cap station, Hanoi. Tour ends. You find your own way to the hotel.

 

SAPA – EASY TREKKING

3 days – 2 nights, sleep at hotel

Price: US$97/1 person, maximum 8 people in a group

Sapa is a delightful French hill station built in the early years of the century and one of the most beautiful tourist attractions in Vietnam. High in the mountains of Vietnam, Sapa offers great trekking and akaleidoscope of ethnic groups. This trip provides you a glimpse of local hill tribes and opportunities to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Sapa.

Night 1: You will get picked up at your hotel, then transferred to Hanoi Railway station for your night train journey from Vietnam’s capital city to the border town of Lao Cai.

Day 1: Sapa – Cat Cat – Sin Chai (B, L, D)

Arrive in Lao Cai station at around 5:00AM, you get picked up by our driver and then transferred by bus to Sapa. The bus ride uphill to Sapa takes a little more than an hour, giving you a glimpse of the stunning vistas and impressive rice terraces. You will have breakfast at hotel before we start the trip to Cat Cat and Sin Chai villages of Black H’mong tribe. We relax at the foot of the stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station that was constructed by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam, then trek 6kms to Sin Chai, the village located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain, “the roof of Vietnam and Indochina”. From here you can enjoy the huge stunning landscapes before trekking back to Sapa town. The rest of the afternoon is free to explore the town on your own. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Lao Cai – Hanoi (B, L, D)

After breakfast, you will check out and leave your luggage in the hotel and trek down to Lo Chai village to visit the Tay and Dzay tribes, keep going along the bottom of Muong Hoa valley to visit Ta Van village where is home to the Dzay minority. This is the most beautiful ethnic village in the area. We have lunch in Dzay family.

In the afternoon, we transfer you back to Sapa by motorbike/ Jeep, get the fresh with a shower in the hotel then head to Lao Cai station for night train back to Hanoi.

Day 3: 5:00AM you arrive in Hanoi, the tour ends. You find your own way to the hotel.

 

SAPA – MEDIUM TREKKING

4 nights – 3 days, 1 night sleep at hotel & 1 night sleep at homestay

Price: US$107/1 person, maximum 8 people in a group

The mini adventure includes 2 nights on the sleep train, 1 night at the hotel and 1 night at homestay. For those wanting a little extra comfort, you can upgrade your sleeper train and hotel… however one thing is for sure the homestay is not to be missed! This provides a unique glimpse into local hill tribe life and the local hospitality is very memorizable. Enjoy the fresh air, lush green landscape, fresh rivers and the delicious home cooking of the traditional homestay.

Night 1: 20:00PM, you will get picked up at your hotel and then transferred to Hanoi train station by coach. Stay on the night train with A/C soft sleeper berth.

Day 1: Lao Cai – Sapa – Cat Cat – Sin Chai (B, L, D)

Arrive in Lao Cai station at 5:00AM, you are welcomed by our driver, then enjoy a bus ride uphill to Sapa which takes a little over an hour, giving you a glimpse of the stunning vistas and impressive rice terraces. In the early morning you will get a wakeup call by your guide and spend time to enjoy a pleasant breakfast. Say goodbye to local people and start a new trek with more stunning landscapes and other ethnic minority villages dotted as far as your eyes sight. The trails lead you to Su Pan an imagination of down tower steps with a universal view of the house roofs of the Tay minority isolated in a green valley appearing in front of your eyes will mark you an unforgettable trip. In the afternoon, we take Russian jeep to return to Sapa.

6:00PM, we drive down Lao Cai station for the night train back to Hanoi.

You arrive in Hanoi around 5:00AM next day, the tour ends. You have to find your own way to the hotel.

Note: You can prolong your stay in Sapa if you are interested in the place.
